Ten years ago I had a blog called “Humble Heart Scribbles” where I shared a variety of poetry I wrote as a child and as an adult. This blog, She Hath Wings, is named after one of my favourite poems by Victor Hugo, which emphasises that there may be challenges in life, but there is also hope which helps us find a way to rise. I write poems and prose about whatever is relevant to my life, past and present. Sometimes I use the writing to process thoughts and emotions; sometimes I am inspired by true events but I turn the writing into fiction. Please feel free to comment on my writing or write me a short hello- I do enjoy correspondence and having feedback too.
